Community organizing is a central component of my new genre public art practice. The T-shirt project began on the streets of San Francisco, birthed as an idea crowdsourced from within my community. The Aeta Tribes project began in community centers and public libraries. In The Lives of The Creators, I brought together scientists, scholars, philanthropists, and artists to share their projects and research in free community events. Currently, I am collaborating with Spanish-speaking immigrant communities to leverage new technologies, storytelling, and traditional artistic mediums to preserve traditional and familial knowledge.
