The Art of Our Dreams
This project with my best friend Blue and my father saw us release hundreds of balloons with postcards attached to them asking the unsuspecting recipient; "what is one thing you've always wanted to do in life but not yet done"?. This project was inspired by my Father and Blue's shared childhood dream to play the trumpet, as well as my dream to live in San Francisco one day. Here my father plays the trumpet as Blue, a musician, lets free the postcards attached to balloons.
We had plans to go to a football game. I saw the potential for so much more with our time together. In hindsight, maybe I should have listened to the old 'less is more' adage.
I sprang to life. I would need a tent, 200 helium-filled balloons, a trumpet, and as many pigeons as I could find before Friday.
